How to Help

In order to care for residents and their families at no charge we are in need of many items. We rely on donations, grants, and fundraising. We receive no money from government agencies or medical insurance companies. Donations can be mailed to Haynes House of Hope 7187 State Route 149, Granville, NY 12832.

Volunteers are always at the top of our list. For without them we could not function. There is lawn care, cooking, cleaning, laundry, fundraising, office work, scheduling, volunteer recruiting and resident/family care.

Haynes House needs to have caring volunteers 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Our resident care volunteers are not required to have any medical training. They are given training and shadow more experienced volunteers until they feel comfortable volunteering on their own. Many of our volunteers pair up with relatives, friends or spouses.
